Broken Man — Struggling. But Fighting.

Street Therapy

BROKEN
MAN

“I'm struggling. But I'm fighting.”

There is no shame in that.

Broken Man is for the men who are damaged but not done. For the boys growing up who need to learn that strength and honesty can exist in the same body. For fathers, sons, brothers, mates, fighters, workers, carers and quiet survivors.

The Story Behind The Brand

Tap any section to read more. This is not a brand built in a boardroom — it was built in the wreckage.

Broken Man was created for the men who carry too much and say too little. The men who turn up, provide, work, parent, protect, perform, smile, joke, and keep moving while something inside them is quietly falling apart. The men who do not always know how to say "I'm not okay" because they were taught to be useful before they were taught to be honest. This is not about weakness. It is not about giving up. It is not about saying men have it worse than anyone else. It is about breaking the silence that costs lives.

As a father whose children once held his hands and begged him not to die, Broken Man is personal. It exists because I know what it feels like to look fine on the outside while breaking underneath. I also know that being honest sooner can change everything. This brand is part of the wider Street Therapy message: everyone deserves to be okay, and nobody should have to stay silent to look strong. Broken Man is wearable honesty. It is a mark for the men who are damaged but not done.

Suicide, pain, pressure and silence are human problems. They affect women, men, young people, families, neurodivergent people, carers, workers, parents, children and people from every background. But there is a particular silence many men grow up carrying — the silence that says keep going, don't cry, don't talk, don't make it someone else's problem. That silence can cost lives. Broken Man exists to give men a visible, everyday way to say they are not okay — before crisis becomes collapse.

74%of UK suicides in 2024 were male

In England in 2024, 5,717 suicides were registered. 4,231 were male — making up 74% of all registered suicides. Samaritans reports that males are around three times more likely to die by suicide than females in England. Middle-aged men continue to have the highest suicide rate of any group, carrying work, family, pressure, identity and silence all at once. These are not just statistics. These are fathers, sons, brothers, mates, workers and quiet survivors.

~75%of youth suicides aged 5–35 were boys or young men

YoungMinds reports that suicide was the leading cause of death for people aged 5–35 in England in 2022, and around three quarters were boys or young men. The message has to start early: boys should not grow up believing silence is the price of being strong. For the boys growing up who need to learn that strength and honesty can exist in the same body — Broken Man is for them too.

66%of autistic adults have thought about taking their own life

ONS analysis found that suicide rates varied by SEN type, with those with social, emotional and mental health needs having higher rates than other SEN groups. Autistica says studies have found that up to 66% of autistic adults have thought about taking their own life, and 35% have attempted suicide. For families like mine, this matters deeply. Children with additional needs deserve language, support and belonging before pain turns inward. Difference should not become isolation, and struggle should never have to be hidden.

For fathers, sons, brothers, mates, fighters, workers, carers and quiet survivors who need a way to say: I'm struggling. But I'm fighting. And there is no shame in that. For the men who are damaged but not done. For the boys growing up who need to see that strength and honesty can exist in the same body. For anyone who has ever looked fine on the outside while breaking underneath. Broken Man is wearable honesty — a conversation starter, a reminder, a mark of survival.
